Question: Is heathy eating or exercise more important when it comes to weight loss?
If you guess healthy eating, you are correct. It is hard to burn 500 calories in an hour
exercise session. On the flip side, eating 500 calories at a meal is very easy. In order to
develop good nutritional habits there are a few things that you must keep in mind.
1. Don’t “diet”. The word diet means “ the kinds of food that a person, animal, or
community habitually eats”. However today the word “diet” means calorie restriction.
The eating plan in this book is not a “diet” but a plan to help you lose weight while
learning healthy eating habits. This will becomethe way you eat not just for a week or
a month but for the rest of your life.
2. Forget the notion “a calorie is a calorie”. The truth is that when it comes to calories,
quality rules. For an example: Eating a blueberry muffin or eating the same nutrients
and calories of oatmeal topped with blueberries and walnuts; which one actually burns
calories through digestion?
The oatmeal of course.
3. The eating approach “RELAX EAT MOVE REPEAT proposes, will be fun, easy to follow,
and does not include any funky foods.
